HD Worldwide Video was founded by award-winning director of photography Greg Verspohl. Greg has used his talents over the last 15 years to direct and shoot various television shows, documentaries, special events, news and special projects. He has worked extensively with various production companies, such as High Noon Entertainment, Prometheus Entertainment, Banyan Productions and shot for more than 14 networks. His passion for shooting continues as he takes an active role for many HD Worldwide Video shoots.
His creative vision, keen eye for detail and great work ethic has earned him various awards and recognition. Greg earned an Emmy for photography/editing of the ABC Documentary “Hands of Hope”. This documentary, sponsored by Rotaplast International, was shot in Chile, Mexico, Russia and The United States and featured surgeons and doctors who donate their time to perform reconstructive surgeries on children in less fortunate countries. Greg also was selected by NBC as a cameraman for the Atlanta Summer Olympics in 1996.
His early television career included work as a special projects photographer/editor for KMGH –Denver, KOB – Albuquerque, and Chief Photographer at KNAZ – Flagstaff.
Greg received his Broadcast Journalism, Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Colorado in 1993.
